Medtrode’s collaboration with LHSCRI
is multi-fold. Dr.
Mandar Jog’s laboratory at the Lawson Health
Research Institute serves as our clinical research
arm where product prototypes undergo animal clinical
studies and programming algorithms are being developed
and tested.
Simultaneously, Dr. Jog’s movement disorder
clinic which is one of the busiest in Ontario allows
us to understand first-hand the real needs of patients
with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological
disorders, and thus tailor our products and technologies
to be market needs-driven. |
